Eligibility

• Who Can Win: Open exclusively to transit riders. The Ride Contest runs from September 1 - 30, 2026.

• Operator Exclusion: Professional transit operators are ineligible for contest prizes when logging routes driven on shift. 

• Household Limit: Maximum of one prize per household.

How to Enter & Win

1. Log Your Trips Using Ride Contest: Every valid transit trip logged on participating Southern California agencies (e.g., LA Metro, Metrolink, OCTA, Big Blue Bus) counts as one entry into the giveaway. 

2. Giveaway System: The majority of agency prizes are awarded via a giveaway selection from total logged entries.
   
   Taking more trips increases both your entry count and your chances at winning a prize. Riders who take more trips will earn more entries, increasing their chances of winning.
   

Prize Claim & Delivery Methods

• Mailing: Shipped directly to the winner’s provided mailing address.

• In-Person Event: Picked up Move LA's offices located in the DTLA Arts District
