Hosted by Inglewood Councilwoman Gloria Gray, the 3rd Annual Inglewood Family Unity Day at Darby Park is a free, family-friendly community celebration bringing together residents of Inglewood for an afternoon of food, fun, and connection. Taking place on Saturday, August 29, from 12PM to 6PM, the event features free food, live music, games, and activities for all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to relax and enjoy the day. Local organizations will be on hand to share resources, and city officials will be present to engage with the community. Family Unity Day highlights the spirit of Inglewood, fostering unity, joy, and neighborhood pride.

Destination Little Ethiopia together with Community Partners, LA City Councilwoman Heather Hutt and City of Los Angeles Department of Culture Affairs invite you to a Celebration in Motion, a vibrant community event celebrating the DLE's transformative Infrastructure Project along Fairfax Avenue! This unique event is dedicated to promoting safe, car-free streets, highlighting the diversity of sustainable and inclusive modes of transportation. Fairfax will come alive with a festive parade of pedestrians, skateboarders, rollerbladers, scooter riders, and wheelchair users, all showcasing the many ways we can navigate our streets safely and enjoyably.
Come enjoy live entertainment, delicious local food, music, interact with community organizations, participate in family-friendly activities, and learn about the Fairfax Pedestrian Improvement Project and how Destination Little Ethiopia is creating safer, more walkable streets for everyone.
