Now in its third year, Transit Month is designed to share the joy of riding public transit and build stronger relationships between transit agencies and transit riders/advocates.

Alongside our annual Policy Conference and Community Conversation, SoCal Transit Month is our premier event to engage in a conversation about changing the culture in Los Angeles—dominated for decades by the car—to a multi-modal future. Move LA is producing this event in partnership with Bay Area Transit Month, America Walks Week Without Driving, and the Coalition for Clean Air’s California Clean Air Day.

Will you join us as a volunteer to either organize an event, attend an event, or participate in the Ride Contest? We plan to host almost 40 events across the region to increase transit ridership, generate favorable press, and get elected officials and transit agencies involved in this rider-driven event. Let’s share the joy of riding public transit!
