The Metro A Line is about to go farther than ever — and you can be part of the moment.
The $1.6 billion, 9.1-mile extension from Azusa to Pomona, linking four vibrant cities with Greater Los Angeles County: Glendora, San Dimas, La Verne and Pomona. This expansion strengthens our region with:
- Seamless transfers to regional bus and rail services
- Modern stations featuring public art and sustainable design
- Better access to schools, shopping, jobs, and key destinations
- Reduced congestion and improved travel reliability

11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. - Pomona community celebration
Noon - Revenue service begins
Live sets from local bands and DJs, plus food truck favorites, and plenty of afternoon fun.
